Airborne

Jumpers completing their 5th and last jump on Fryer Drop Zone at the Airborne school, Fort Benning, Georgia. Airborne school is three weeks long. During the third week, known as jump week, they must complete 5 jumps from high performance aircraft at an altitude of 1200 feet flying 150 mph. Once on the ground the jumpers must pack up their chutes and run off the drop zone to the turn in area.
